Washington Post Article on Fake Degrees in SA
I'm not surprised (considering the amount of correspondence courses of unverifiable veracity in South Africa) that some would simply fabricate the records. It's a shame though.
This article from the Chicago Tribune talks about the
rapidity of & the resistance to the changing of names in South Africa.
It's something that I worry about. When my old hometown -Vaalwater- isn't Vaalwater anymore, will my connection to the place change in some way?
The 10-year anniversary of the 1st democratic elections in South Africa are upcoming, and the SA government websites are starting to publish materials.
